Military Service
Dennis is a highly decorated veteran who collectively served 15 years in the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard, both stateside and abroad and during both peacetime and war. During his exemplary service from 1988 to 2003, Dennis worked at the most technologically advanced military weather station in the world. He served as a Weather Station Operations Chief, an Instructor/Program Director for Air University, as well as an Expert Trainer for the Air National Guard. Dennis was one (1) of only six (6) experts in the United States Air Force responsible for the proper use, interpretation, and management of multi-million dollar high-tech weather equipment and information technology systems. On multiple occasions during his service, his meteorological expertise and leadership were relied upon to protect life and military resources in excess of $20 billion. Notably, he was presidentially called up for extended service to provide expert support for Kosovo in 1999. As a result of his exceptional service, he received Honorable Discharges from both the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard and continues to be active as a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
